                  Few of Trishul Projects

                  Trishul Women Empowerment Program

At Trishul Women Empowerment Program (TWEP), our aim is to support economically less-privileged women from rural areas and urban slums as well as revive traditional art and handicrafts by training and encouraging budding artisans through our skill development programs.
At TWEP, we conduct free skill development workshops on hand embroidery, painting methods such as Madhubani and Warli, basic stitching, and creating home decors, handcrafted jewelry, bags, hand-painted greeting cards, and so on.

Livelihood generation program at TWEP:Sales proceeds of our carefully crafted products ensure a steady source of income for the women involved. As Trishul extends the training and support to more and more women, we hope to better the lives of multitudes of families, as empowering a woman means empowering a family.

At TWEP, we also conduct periodic health check-up; mentoring and counselling sessions, yoga, and similar supportive activities. We are also planning to start a daily nutrition program at TWEP and TLC to tackle urban malnutrition, a much-ignored malady.

                  Trishul Learning Center

Our objective at Trishul Learning Centre (TLC) is to help children from economically weaker communities in rural areas and urban slums build a strong educational foundation, develop self-esteem, and assimilate  values, which will help them maximise their potential and become economically independent and responsible citizens.

At Trishul, we believe education and life skills development are primary stepping stones for children from less-privileged communities to enter the mainstream economy and lead a better-quality life.
At TLC, we provide free learning facility to children, focusing on Math, Science, and English. We blend our coaching with activity-based learning, project work, field trips, arts, crafts, sports and unstructured play to facilitate holistic development of the children. Expert counselling and mentoring sessions on career and personality development are also conducted by visiting faculty.

                  Model Village

Model Wadi.. A Concept based on Self Sustainable Ancient Indian Village.. By Children at Trishul Learning Center.

                  Model made from Waste Material.

Model Village made out of Waste Material like Waste "Paper, Cloth, Bottles, Plastic, Foam, Ice Cream Sticks, Card Board, etc)..

Model Wadi project is based on traditional ancient village concept. Every village was an independent and self sustainable community. It had farmers, craftsmen, technicians, architects, engineers, healers, traders, merchants, sports, games, carnivals; it was a culturally rich community. Indian handicraft, spices, gems, gold all were world renowned and Indian village and country economy was thriving through this decentralized yet united economy. It was period of Golden Economy in India.
A modern version “Model Wadi” or “Model Village” takes most of the above ideas plus addresses the current environment issues through sustainable ideas like tapping eco-friendly energy from solar, wind mills and bio gas; recycle wet waste to compost, recycle and up-cycle most of the dry waste, create and encourage more handicraft skills, create entrepreneurs through women empowerment project, encourage sports and create employment opportunity for the youth through youth empowerment project etc.
