Why should you donate?

Although widely ignored and shunned , URBAN SLUMS and their denizens are a part of our society; helping them grow and improve is  indispensable for the overall development of our city as well as our country.

A TEAM IS ONLY AS STRONG AS ITS WEAKEST LINK.....

We work on projects like:

• Trishul Learning Center - Providing free holistic education for children (Extra Curriculum, Co-Curriculum, Art, Craft, Sports, Toys and Books library etc)

• Women Empowerment - Training, Mentorship, Counselling, Helping in livelihood generation for Women from Slums, Rural India and economically less privileged background.

• Waste Management Project - Waste Recycle / Up-Cycle 

• Model Village / Wadi Project - Based on traditional Indian Self Sustainable Village Model. (Newly Proposed) 

• Health, Medical and Hygiene maintenance in slums.

• Dattak Basti (Slum Adoption)

• Disaster Management (Assisting communities in Proactive Disaster Management Programs)

• Youth Empowerment (Career Counselling, Mentor, Training and Employment Assistance).

We work in a fashion similar to any other SOHO (Small Office Home Office) type organization, employing a small team to run back office operations, manage projects, and business development. We have been working on very slim resources for considerably bigger projects; but we believe that it is time to upscale our program by getting a small place to run our operations, servers and computers, rent, power, more full time staff etc.  

To protect this special dream project and its independence, it's imperative that we stay clear of venture capital funding. We take absolutely no government funds or grants and run almost entirely on donations or small profits that we can make out some of our projects.
